This policy explains what Pinecrest Venture Group collects, why, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

Contact details you give us (name, email, phone), business details needed for the services you order, and information required for specific filings, which can include a Social Security number or ITIN for the responsible party on an EIN application. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and fraud prevention.

Payment information

Card payments are entered directly into our payment processor's secure window. We receive a transaction confirmation, not your card number.

How we protect sensitive data

Identification numbers are encrypted with AES-256 before storage, are accessible only to the staff member handling your filing, are never sent by email, and are deleted from our systems after the filing is complete and any follow-up period has passed. The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections.

How we use information

To perform the services you order, communicate with you about your order, process payments, meet legal obligations, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Government agencies, only to complete the filings you order; our payment processor; and service providers that help us run our business (such as hosting and email), under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep your cart and order access working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep order records as long as needed to provide the services and meet accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those requirements.

Your choices

You can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal information by contacting the email address listed on our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them.

Children

Our services are for adults forming or running businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
