Terms of service
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Pinecrest Venture Group ("Pinecrest Venture Group", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using this website you agree to them.
1. What we do
We provide business support services: preparing and submitting filings with government agencies at your direction, preparing self-help business documents from information you supply, bookkeeping, and business launch services such as websites and listings. We act as your agent only for the specific filings you order and authorize.
2. What we are not
We are a private company. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Internal Revenue Service or any state or local government. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and nothing we provide is legal advice. We are not a certified public accounting firm and do not provide attestation, audit or tax return preparation services. Bookkeeping is provided by staff holding Intuit Tax Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. For advice about your specific legal or tax situation, consult a licensed attorney or tax professional.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us complete, accurate and truthful information, and you are responsible for the information submitted on your behalf. You confirm you are authorized to act for the business you order services for. Filings made with information you supply are made at your direction. You are responsible for reviewing every document before you sign or use it.
4. Fees and government fees
Our service fees are shown on each service page and charged at checkout. Government filing fees are separate, passed through at cost, and invoiced after we confirm the fee for your state. Monthly services are charged for the first month at checkout and then billed monthly until you cancel.
5. Turnaround
Turnaround times on our pages are typical estimates that begin once your intake is complete and payment has cleared. Government agencies set their own processing times, which are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by agencies, incomplete information, or events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Payments
Card payments are processed by our third party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number. By paying you authorize the charge shown at checkout.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our refund policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Intellectual property
Once paid in full, you may use the documents and deliverables we create for you for your own business. Our templates, website content and branding remain ours. Website and brand deliverables transfer to you on final payment, excluding third party licensed assets, which remain under their own licenses.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the service fee you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, or penalties arising from information you provided or decisions you made.
10. Warranty disclaimer
Except as stated in these terms, services are provided as is. We do not guarantee that a government agency will approve a filing, that a name is available for trademark use, or any particular business or financial result.
11. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth or State of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and give us thirty days to try to resolve it informally.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
